Vivo frequently releases 4G versions of their devices, which is a common practice in the industry. Earlier this year, in January, Vivo launched the Y28 5G. As its presence started to fade, Vivo introduced the Vivo Y28 4G with a Helio G85 processor, releasing it in Singapore.
Sleek Design and Display
The Vivo Y28 4G has a sleek design with standout colors, Agate Green and Gleaming Orange. It features a flat body and a 6.68” IPS screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, delivering 1000 nits of brightness. However, the 720p resolution might be a drawback for some users.
Camera Setup
The camera setup includes:- 50 MP rear camera
- 2 MP depth sensor
- Aura light and flash
- 8 MP front selfie camera
Performance and Storage
The Helio G85 chipset powers the device. Although it's an older chip, it's still considered a reliable entry-level SoC in the industry. With a 2.0 GHz CPU and Mali G52 GPU, it provides decent performance. The Vivo Y28 4G comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, which is impressive for a budget device.
Battery and Durability
The device features a 6000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. Additionally, it has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, adding to its durability. Running on Android 14, the Vivo Y28 4G is priced at approximately USD 199 (~PKR 55,000).
